Emerson for the Young Buck

What I've learned so far from Emerson is that you need to trust yourself and do whatever you want to do. You shouldn't be doing things you aren't comfortable with simply because your friends are doing it. Nowadays everyone is trying to be like each other because they think that there's always someone better than them. You're the best at being yourself. Right now you need to realize that you shouldn't worry about what others will think of your actions. If you want to do something, just go for it and ignore what others will say. You need to trust yourself and find whatever makes you happy. Are you really living your life to the fullest if you're always copying others and looking for their approval?  No! You need to figure out what's right for you and not what's right for others. It doesn't matter what other people want. In the end, Emerson is clearly trying to get us to stop relying on others and instead rely on ourselves.
